Self-Care Sunday, August 18

Volunteers will assemble snack bags to restock local food pantries throughout Starkville, MS. It's a hands-on way to make a difference and show our commitment to helping others. Let's come together, pack some snacks, and spread kindness.

Helping Hands, August 19

Join us for a community service event where Bulldogs unite to make a difference! Roll up your sleeves and contribute to local projects beautifying the surrounding community. Let's make an impact—one act of service at a time!

Volunteers must provide their transportation. Student Leadership and Community Engagement and the Maroon Volunteer Center provide refreshments and tools.

PAWSitivity, August 20

Join us for a PAWSitive impact! At our Animal Rights & Welfare event, students will craft dog chew toys from upcycled t-shirts. Help provide enrichment for shelter dogs while learning about animal advocacy. No experience is needed—bring your creativity and love for animals! All materials provided.

Fueling the Community, August 21

We are looking for volunteers to create craft bags and self-care bags filled with treats and essentials for distribution to those in our senior and assisted living communities. In addition, we will have affirmation stations where MSU students can write encouraging notes to local youth and senior citizens. Sending positive notes is a beautiful way to give back while practicing self-care through creativity and connection. Everyone is welcome to participate in spreading kindness together!

Student Leadership and Community Engagement and the Maroon Volunteer Center will provide all materials.
