Maroon Volunteer Cord

Apply to receive the Maroon Volunteer Cord for commencement

Undergraduate students who have completed at least 200 volunteer hours and graduate students who have completed at least 100 volunteer hours are eligible to wear a Student Leadership and Community Engagement-Maroon Volunteer Center cord during graduation. The Maroon Volunteer Cord is MVC's way to honor students for their commitment to making our community a better place for others.

To qualify, students must:

• Log all service hours on Cowbell Connect by
  • Fall Graduates: November 1
  • Spring Graduates: April 1
• Undergraduate Students
  • Complete and log at least 200 VERIFIED volunteer hours
• Graduate Students
  • Complete and log at least 100 VERIFIED volunteer hours

Students are encouraged to submit hours within two weeks of volunteering to allow ample time for review and verification.
